Overview

Wildlife safari & Horseback riding on a traditional cattle farm and immense nature reserve.

Hato is a traditional cattle ranch that is deeply committed to preserving the flora and fauna of the Llanos while simultaneously maintaining the rich cultural heritage of the Llaneros. Over 40 cowboys work together during cattle work, showcasing the ranch’s strong traditions year-round.

The food served is authentically regional, with fresh meat daily, and you’ll always be surrounded by the spirit of the cowboys. The family, led by the owner Don Felipe, is incredibly warm and welcoming. With over 300 horses and 8,000 cattle, a visit to this nature reserve offers the chance to spot white-tailed deer, capybaras, giant anteaters, spectacled caimans, turtles, tamanduas, hundreds of bird species, howler monkeys, and perhaps even an anaconda or a puma.
